Only You is about a woman who travels to Italy in pursuit of the man she believes is her destiny.

IT IS WRITTEN IN THE STARS

It must have been fate that directed me to see this movie on a whim back when I was in high school.  To this day it is my favorite romantic comedy.  I never get tired of watching it, and I never get tired of the hopelessly romantic “my soul mate is out there somewhere” feeling I have each time I see it.  Hopefully I find him someday, and he loves this movie too, because if he doesn’t… well…

MOVIE INFO

  • Starring: Marisa Tomei, Rober Downey Jr
  • Rated: PG for sensuality and language
  • Released: 1994
  • Genre: Romantic Comedy
  • My Opinion: I loved it!!!

NON SPOILER SUMMARY

Faith has believed since she was a young girl that she is destined to marry a man named Damon Bradley. Just before her wedding (to someone else) she gets a phone call. Guess who is on the other end? That’s right, Damon Bradley. But before she can say anything, he hangs up. Determined to follow (and if necessary, force) her destiny, she and her best friend traipse halfway across the world to track him down.  Only You is full of hilarious twists, turns, and outrageous moments that keep you entertained and wondering what will happen up until the very last scene.  You cannot go wrong with this fabulous romantic comedy.

CIN’S REVIEW

Only You is the movie that made me love romantic comedies. It is the movie that made me love Marisa Tomei and Robert Downey Jr. It is the movie that made me believe in destiny. It is the movie that made me want to go to Italy. Only You is the very first movie I ever purchased.  Yes I love it, and I think you will too.
