Green Lantern is based on the comic book series of the same name, about test pilot Hal Jordan who inherits a powerful green ring and green lantern and transforms into a superhero.

Thor is the movie based on the comic book hero. Golden hair, sparkling blue eyes, rippling muscles, has a hammer that commands the atmosphere… yep… that one. Thor is banished to Earth to learn a few lessons about becoming a worthy God.

The Green Lantern movie, starring Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, is scheduled for release on June 17, 2011. Get yourself prepared for a legion of strange aliens with all powerful green rings!
